Location: Various locations across British Columbia As an Environmental Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all environmental regulations and policies are being followed, and that our clients are in compliance with all relevant environmental laws and regulations. This includes conducting audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure compliance, as well as providing training and guidance to clients on environmental best practices. You will also be responsible for identifying and reporting any non-compliance issues, and working with clients to develop and implement corrective action plans. Additionally, you will be expected to stay up-to-date with changing environmental regulations and policies, and to provide expert advice and guidance to clients on environmental matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental regulations and policies, as well as experience in conducting audits, inspections, and assessments. A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, or a related field is required, and a professional certification such as the Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) or the Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) is preferred.
