Review and approve contractor documentationMonitor and audit contractor performance to environmental and sustainability standards and guidance at site levelSupport project teams in environmental management and sustainability implementation in planning, execution and reportingWork with the consenting teams and provide site compliance supportReport and evaluate all environmental events in an appropriate timescale and undertake environmental incident response, management and investigations Report to and engage with authorities as required.Support with development and execution of environmental drills Provide toolbox talks and organise meetings with contractors on a frequent basis regarding key environmental topicsProvide environmental input in contracting and due diligenceManage and further develop systematic ways of working with environmental topics Degree in a relevant discipline such as Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental ScienceRelevant work experience in renewable energy (or similar) construction and/or operationsKnowledge and understanding of wind technology preferredFamiliarity with environmental management systemsUnderstanding of German licencing/permitting & consenting regimes and knowledge of the German Legislation and Guidelines related to environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
