SAR 5,000 – 7,000 Gross
OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Manager to oversee EHS standards within a manufacturing environment. The role will be responsible for promoting a safe workplace, ensuring environmental compliance, managing workplace risks, and maintaining high standards of occupational health and safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and incident investigations
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and management of chemicals
- Monitor environmental compliance, waste management, and occupational health standards
- Conduct EHS training and safety awareness programmes
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and relevant EHS/ISO standards
- Collaborate with production and management teams to strengthen the organisation’s safety culture
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental practices
PRE-REQUISITES
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, OHS, or a related field
- Relevant EHS/HSE experience at Assistant Manager or Manager level
- Experience in rubber, glove, or similar manufacturing environments is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of occupational safety, environmental compliance, risk management, and chemical handling
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- NEBOSH, IOSH or similar certifications are an advantage
