In a company specializing in optical precision manufacturing, you will develop measurement solutions for product development and manufacturing. You will lead technology projects, evaluate new measurement methods, and support manufacturing metrology as second-level support.

Key aspects of the position

• Bringing new measurement methods from idea to series production
• Optical precision manufacturing with interferometry and wavefront measurement

Your responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement metrology solutions for development and operations
• Document metrology and hand over to production and assembly
• Plan and execute technology projects, including with external partners
• Provide second-level support for manufacturing metrology
• Evaluate new measurement methods and measurement machines

Your profile

• Master's degree in Physics or PhD in Optical Systems Engineering, Physics, or similar
• Programming skills, e.g., Python, Matlab, LabVIEW, or C++
• Experience with optical simulation, e.g., CodeV or Zemax
• Knowledge of optical measurement methods such as interferometry, goniometry, or wavefront measurement (e.g., Shack-Hartmann)
• Independent and structured
• German and English, spoken and written
