Development Engineer (m/w/d)

Tasks

• Coordination of the entire development process, including design and tool development, up to delivery into series production
• Creation and testing of technical concepts, FMEA's, load lists, and part lists
• Creation of component calculations (Mould Flow, shrinkage, strength)
• Coordination and technical leadership of customer-specific development projects
• Technical customer consulting on aspects of plastic processing and material selection
• Coordination of external development service providers in the context of project work
• Planning and creation of design reviews
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer requirements

Qualification

• Degree in plastics technology or mechanical engineering, alternatively further education to a technician or comparable qualification
• Experience in development and project management in the automotive industry
• In-depth knowledge of plastic processing in injection molding, tooling, and mold making
• Ideal experience with CATIA, Siemens NX, MS Office, and CAE
• Good English skills in writing and speaking
• Solution-oriented thinking, innovative spirit, and hands-on mentality
