For our innovation team at our headquarters in Hochdorf, we are looking for an experienced and skilled personality as a Development Engineer, effective immediately or by arrangement.
Development Engineer
Your contribution to success
Technical responsibility for the 4B product portfolio
Development and implementation of technical solutions and constructions for windows, lift-and-slide doors, sliding doors, and glazing systems
Project management for further development of existing products
Carrying out necessary static, thermal, and building physics calculations
Prototype construction and execution of tests in the in-house test laboratory
Transfer to series production and creation of system documentation for the technical, production, and sales departments
Close collaboration with internal specialist departments and coordination of external suppliers and partners
Are you ready?
Successful university degree in the field of metal, facade, or timber construction, or completed technical training with corresponding further education in the mentioned areas
Several years of professional experience in development and/or project management
Sound knowledge in the building envelope sector or in a technical profession with an affinity for wood, glass, or aluminum
Strong organizational and communication skills, flexibility, persistence, and a team player mentality
Fluent German language skills, English is an advantage
Good knowledge of SIA standards, 2D and 3D drawing tools (e.g., AutoCad), building physics tools (e.g., Flixo), and MS Office
Preferably at 4B
