Development Engineer (m/f/d) Medical Technology Injection Systems in Mannheim (1710)

With BRÜGGEN ENGINEERING, you will shape innovative injection systems, test carriers, and technical devices for medical and diagnostic applications. You will accompany projects from conception and experimental testing through to regulatory approval and clinical evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Injection Systems: You will develop solutions based on needles, syringes, and comparable medical application systems
• Device Development: You will conceptualize and implement special devices for the controlled collection and withdrawal of human fluids
• Test Carriers: You will develop and evaluate suitable test carriers for diagnostic and experimental applications
• Experimental Design: You will plan and organize experiments, conduct investigations, and systematically evaluate the results
• Project Coordination: You will manage internal and external development services and oversee technical coordination and acceptance of services rendered
• Documentation: You will comprehensively and comprehensibly document development activities, experimental results, and technical decisions
• Approval: You will support regulatory approval processes as well as the planning, execution, and evaluation of clinical studies

Qualifications

• Qualification: Degree in Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Materials Science, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field of study
• Experience: Practical experience in the development of medical devices, injection systems, test carriers, or diagnostic products
• Expertise: Knowledge in handling needles, syringes, test carriers, or devices for the withdrawal of human fluids
• Experimental Practice: Experience in planning, conducting, evaluating, and documenting series of experiments
• Project Management: Ideally, experience in coordinating development projects and external partners
• Regulatory Affairs: Knowledge in the approval of medical devices and in the environment of clinical studies is advantageous
• Work Style & Languages: Structured, independent, and quality-conscious work style as well as very good German and English skills
