Development Engineer (m/f/d) Embedded Systems / Electronics

Our portfolio includes bodycams and construction site cameras, which we conceptualize and further develop with a high degree of development depth. In addition, we are working on innovative technologies in the fields of artificial intelligence and non-destructive testing using computed tomography.

Tasks

• You will develop analog and digital circuits for microprocessor-controlled electronic assemblies.
• You will select suitable microprocessors, sensors, and other electronic components for various application areas.
• You will create and test circuit diagrams and PCB layouts and ensure reliable technical implementation.
• You will develop hardware-related firmware, preferably in C/C++, and support the integration of hardware and software.
• You will build prototypes, commission them, and carry out comprehensive tests.
• You will analyze causes of errors, identify optimization potential, and continuously improve existing assemblies.
• You will accompany development projects from the initial idea to series readiness and support successful product implementation.
• You will create technical documentation and ensure traceable and complete documentation of development work.

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed a degree or technician qualification in electrical engineering, electronics, embedded systems, or a comparable field of study.
• You have experience in the development of microprocessor-controlled electronic assemblies.
• Ideally, you have experience with wireless communication, camera systems, battery technology, as well as USB, WLAN, and Bluetooth technologies. Knowledge in the development of mobile and robust electronic products is advantageous.
• You possess knowledge in circuit development, PCB design, and firmware development.
• You are proficient with measuring devices such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers and can analyze and evaluate measurement results in a targeted manner.
• You are characterized by an independent, systematic, and practice-oriented way of working and reliably complete your tasks.
