Development Engineer (m/w/d) Cabin Interior & Proof of Compliance
Job description
We are looking for a Design Engineer (m/w/d) Development & Modification on behalf of a customer company through labor leasing.
The position is focused on challenging development and proof of compliance issues. It combines construction, calculation, documentation, and coordination in a technically regulated environment.
Tasks
- Modification and static design of cabin and interior components for special mission applications
- Calculation and proof of compliance for interior components and their attachment to primary and secondary structures
- FEM analyses of metallic and sandwich components, for example, using ANSYS
- 3D CAD construction, preferably with SolidWorks, as well as maintenance of data in a PLM system
- Preparation of technical proofs according to EASA Part 21J and close cooperation with specialist departments and on-site support
Qualification
- Completed university degree in aerospace, aircraft construction, mechanical engineering, or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in specification, development, and modification of aircraft structures or similar technical components
- Knowledge in technical mechanics, 3D construction, FEM modeling, and ideally PLM tools like Windchill
- Desirable first experience with CFD or vibration analyses
- Good to very good English skills, team ability, and a precise technical expression
Framework conditions: 37.5 hours per week, flexible time / early shift, deployment within the framework of labor leasing. For the deployment start, safety shoes of class S2 are required. The role is well-suited for engineers who understand technical proofs not as a duty, but as the core of clean development work.
