As a Development Engineer (m/f/d) Biosensorics & Microsystems Technology, you will play a central role in our team at the Mannheim location. With your expertise, you will develop innovative technologies in the field of biosensorics and microsystems technology for modern medical technology applications.

Tasks

Your Tasks

• Development and optimization of biosensors for medical technology applications
• Conception, design, and manufacturing of microfluidic systems
• Planning, execution, and evaluation of development and experimental series in the field of electrochemistry and microsystems technology
• Analysis, evaluation, and interpretation of complex measurement and experimental data using MATLAB, JMP, or comparable tools
• Close collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams in the development of new technologies and products from the concept phase to the prototype

Qualification

Your Profile

• University degree (Master's or Diploma) in Microsystems Technology, Bio(chemistry), or a comparable field
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Research and Development (R&D), ideally in the fields of medical technology, diagnostics, or sensor development
• Sound knowledge in the areas of biosensorics, electrochemistry, and microfluidics
• Experience in CAD design as well as in the evaluation of large amounts of data with MATLAB, JMP, or comparable programs
• Very good German language skills (at least C1) as well as good English language skills (at least B2) in speaking and writing, and strong communication skills
