Tasks

Your tasks as a development engineer:

• You develop and design mechanical structures for our unmanned aerial systems (UAS), from frames and housings to payload and ground systems.
• You integrate electrical components such as drive, sensors and avionics hardware and ensure the functional coordination between mechanics and electronics.
• You are responsible for the structural and strength design of the systems and support prototype construction, testing and commissioning.
• You create CAD models, technical drawings, parts lists and maintain the documentation of the current system status.
• You work closely with software, test and production teams, support technical evidence and ensure compliance with requirements.

Qualification

This is what you bring:

• You have a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace engineering or comparable
• You have experience in mechanical design, ideally in lightweight construction or UAV environment with
• You bring practical experience in rapid prototyping and system integration
• You have basic knowledge of electrical design, wiring and electrical safety and work safely with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Fusion 360 or similar programs
• You have very good German and English skills.
