Development Engineer / Designer for Automotive Engineering and General Mechanical Engineering

With our in-house vehicle brands Marchi Mobile and mm Rooms, we conceptualize, design, and build intelligent mobile living solutions from 3.5t to 40t – Made in Germany.

Tasks

for the production of special vehicles with complex drive technologies in the special-purpose vehicle sector.

Your tasks:

• As an expert in your field, you will develop constructive solutions for special vehicles within the framework of predefined concepts.

• In addition, you will create performance designs taking into account functional, economic, material, and manufacturing engineering aspects.

• Furthermore, you will design individual parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies according to developed specifications, sketches, and drafts.

• Using the CAD system, you will perform calculations with the help of weights, centers of gravity, and dynamic loads.

• Designing and proposing design changes is also part of your area of responsibility.

• Furthermore, you will perform dimensional surveys of various sample parts and conduct trials and functional tests directly on the vehicle.

• You will create technical documents for the preparation of quotes, manufacturing, and assembly drawings.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in a technical field such as Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, with a focus on Design, or equivalent; alternatively, a Mechanical Engineering Technician qualification.

• Good knowledge of the design tool SOLIDWORKS from version 2018 onwards.

• You work independently and contribute your own ideas.

• You have an affinity, fun, and passion for designing extraordinary vehicles.

• Good German language skills, both spoken and written.
