Backend Developer (m/w/d) in Cologne or Surroundings

We develop demanding applications for our customers, which we maintain and further develop over the long term, giving our projects a product development character. The approach is structured but pragmatic enough that it does not restrict us and is usually well-planned with enough 'breathing room'.

Tasks

We are looking for a backend developer who enjoys implementing exciting digital products for our customers.
We currently work with Node.js/TypeScript (Serverless Functions, NestJS), PHP Symfony/API Platform, Pimcore and the headless E-commerce system Vendure. Our applications are usually based on Microservices, asynchronous processes, and Message Queues – sometimes using protocols like MQTT, WebPush or Server-sent Events.
Quality is important to us: We develop test-driven with unit and acceptance tests in an environment of Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, NPM/Webpack and AI agents. CI/CD, DevOps and Infrastructure as Code are firmly anchored in our agile processes. In internal projects, we try out new technologies and implement our own ideas.

Qualification

You have experience with NodeJS / Nest and/or PHP / Symfony and maybe also Pimcore or Vendure, work independently with pleasure at your job and are happy to be part of an experienced team of great people, with whom you can exchange ideas and creatively let off steam, to find the best solution together.
