To strengthen our team, we are looking for two Enterprise IT Architects (m/f/d) – Industry & Manufacturing, starting immediately, in permanent full-time employment (full-time, remote in Germany with on-site client appointments).

Your Task

You will design the corporate IT architecture for industrial clients along the value chain: from product development, production planning, and manufacturing to service and sales. You will analyze existing application and data landscapes, analyze business processes, data flows, and interfaces between core systems (ERP, MES, Engineering and Product Data Systems, CAD, CRM), and jointly develop the target state with business departments and IT: Which systems manage which data, how do product structures, bills of materials, orders, and changes flow seamlessly through the company, where are media breaks, and how are they closed. You will evaluate architecture options, platform decisions, and migration paths, translate decisions into concrete requirements, conduct workshops with business departments and implementation partners, and review designs and delivery results against architectural specifications. Architecture governance, reviews, and quality assurance of the implementation are part of your role.

What you bring

A completed degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or comparable) and several years of experience as an Enterprise, Solution, or IT Architect in manufacturing companies or in consulting, with demonstrable architectural responsibility in cross-functional transformation projects. You understand the system landscape of an industrial company as a whole and know how ERP, MES, Engineering Systems, and CAD interact; architecture methods and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) are familiar to you. You have in-depth expertise in the area of product and engineering You master data modeling, product structures, EBOM/MBOM transformation, variant and configuration management, as well as change and release processes, and you have conceptualized or implemented integrations between product data systems, ERP (e.g., SAP), and CAD. You are familiar with at least one of the major product data platforms (Teamcenter, Windchill, or 3DEXPERIENCE/ENOVIA) from project practice in depth. You think in terms of processes and systems simultaneously, moderate effectively between business departments and IT, and can clearly justify architectural decisions to management. Fluent German, good English; willingness to travel for on-site client appointments.
