As an Enterprise Architect for Defense, you translate strategic goals into a concrete, future-proof design of processes, data, and IT.

In this role, you work on the big picture as well as concrete applications. You develop, manage, and coordinate architectural products and ensure that they are not only good on paper but are also actually used in projects and decision-making.
Your responsibilities include:
- Creating a blueprint for the future organization of IT, processes, and data within Defense.
- Designing architecture for systems, applications, data flows, security, and cloud environments.
- Translating strategic goals into concrete technical and organizational solutions.
- Advising project teams, departments, and other stakeholders on the application of architecture.
- Connecting organizational goals, technology, and practical execution.
- Collaborating with stakeholders, such as colleagues, suppliers, and partners.
- Following technological developments and innovations, and assessing how they can add value to Defense.
You ensure that architecture provides direction for change. In doing so, you help projects to realize applications, services, and processes effectively and future-proof.
Job Requirements

Education: You have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree, for example in Computer Science, Business IT, Technical Business Administration, or a comparable field.
Experience
You have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Transmission architecture;
- Cyber architecture;
- Information architecture;
- Interoperability;
- Data architecture;
- Security architecture;
- Cloud architecture;
- Data transmission architecture
Skills and competencies
You are someone who can listen well, ask questions, and understands what is happening within the organization. You are customer-oriented but also dare to provide direction when necessary.
Additionally, you possess:
- A clear vision of Enterprise Architecture and its practical application;
