Enrolled Nurse x2 | Neurology/Ortho/Uro Unit Function Nursing Facility Life Peglerae Hospital Position Enrolled Nurse x2 | Neurology/Ortho/Uro Unit Introduction Vacancies exists for an Enrolled Nurse x2 based at Life Peglerae Hospital, reporting to Eileen van Niekerk, Unit Manager. The purpose of this role is to conduct nursing activities to ensure quality patient care. Critical Outputs Conduct duties to meet the requirements of quality patient care, ensuring that all nursing activities carried out are in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care, including but not limited to: administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support to patients. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop strategies for optimal patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including but not limited to: patient charts, medication records, and treatment logs. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes. Perform other duties as required by the Unit Manager or as may be necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the unit. Requirements Education and Qualifications Registered Enrolled Nurse (R.E.N.) or equivalent qualification. Experience 2 years' experience in a similar role or 1 year's experience with a relevant qualification. Skills and Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
