Enrolled Nurse - Ward - Cape Town

We are searching for an Enrolled Nurse who will be responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients and will function under the direct and/ or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse. The Enrolled Nurse will be responsible for assessment and care as well as the needs of patients and will be responsible for assisting the scrub nurse during operations and keeping the operating room sterile. The Enrolled Nurse will perform nursing duties in accordance with the policies, procedures and standards of the hospital. This includes but is not limited to: performing patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, administering medications, providing wound care, assisting with patient transfers, and maintaining accurate records. The Enrolled Nurse will also be responsible for participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to a positive work environment. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Nursing, registration with the South African Nursing Council, and at least 1 year of experience as an Enrolled Nurse.
