English-Speaking Nanny in Begnins, Vaud (Long-Term)

A warm family in Begnins (Vaud) is looking for an English-speaking nanny (no housekeeping required) to care for their 20-month-old daughter. Their home is a 10-minute bus ride from Gland or Nyon train stations, and no driving is required.

• Start date: End of January 2026
• Location: Begnins, Vaud
• Salary: CHF 2400 gross per month and a transport abbonement
• Language: Fluency in English
• Children: One child (20 months old)
• Schedule: 3 days per week, 8 hours per day. Days are currently Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday but the family can be flexible.
• Live-in/out: Live-out
• Main Duties:

• Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate care for a 20-month-old child
• Plan and lead daily activities such as reading, singing, arts and crafts, sensory play, and outdoor exploration
• Take the child on walks, to the park, and to age-appropriate activities using public transport
• Encourage learning through themes like seasons, colours, textures, and nature
• Create a warm, nurturing, English-speaking environment that supports early learning
• Prepare simple vegetarian meals for the child/family (recipes and guidance provided)

This position is open for a live-out candidate.

Requirements

• Swiss or EU Passport / Swiss Work Permit
• Experience caring for toddlers
• Letters of recommendation or job certificates for verification
• Fluent in English
• Looking for a long-term commitment
