The Position

Brookfield Services PL is seeking an experienced Engineering Technologist to support the analysis, modification, optimisation and performance management of agricultural mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysing and modifying agricultural mechanical plant and equipment to improve operational efficiency
• Assisting in the design and development of mechanical systems for grain handling and processing operations
• Preparing technical specifications, reports, system documentation and cost estimates
• Investigating mechanical failures and recommending corrective engineering solutions
• Supporting installation, commissioning and performance testing of agricultural machinery
• Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, safety regulations and quality requirements
• Monitoring system performance and recommending upgrades or preventative maintenance strategies
• Liaising with contractors, suppliers and operational teams regarding engineering improvements

Essential Requirements

• Formal qualifications in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology or closely related discipline
• Minimum one (1) year relevant post-qualification experience
• Demonstrated experience working with agricultural mechanical systems, grain handling equipment, conveyors, augers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Strong analytical, diagnostic and technical reporting capability
• Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and mechanical safety standards
• Ability to work in a regional agricultural environment

Employment Conditions

This is a full-time position based in Cowra,regional NSW. Standard hours apply with reasonable additional hours required during peak operational periods.
