Engineering Team Leader

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Engage in hands-on coding while overseeing code reviews and software documentation.
• Collaborate with research and development to enhance product innovation and process efficiency.
• Shape customer experience solutions and refine technical scoping with the Product Manager and Solutions Architect.
• Ensure scalable solutions with minimal technical debt through active contribution to software architecture and technical design.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful software delivery.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails, with a solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and knowledge of API design and integration.
• Familiarity with developing SaaS applications and cloud technologies like AWS.
• Excellent communication skills and experience in Agile methodologies.
• Proven track record as a hands-on software engineer or developer.
