Engineering Summer Student - Mechanical
Job description
Bantrel has an exciting opportunity for Mechanical Engineering students to support our Energy/Infrastructure Teams this summer. Reporting to the Discipline Lead, you will support various Energy/Infrastructure related projects in our Edmonton corporate office. This position will be starting in May 2026 for a 4-month term.

Duties & Responsibilities (may include and are not limited to):
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete project specific engineering deliverables, including:
- Engineering lists
- Procurement packages including material requisitions, data sheets and specifications
- Review the equipment modeling and design using the latest industry software and tools
- Design Deliverables
- Project Controls deliverables
- Become knowledgeable with the engineering design process and practical applications, regional codes and standards, various engineering design tools and applications, and the Bantrel quality procedures.
- Work collaboratively in a multi-discipline environment to deliver the best solution for our clients.
- Assist senior engineers and designers with their responsibilities including creating and checking engineering deliverables, attending design reviews, and quality reviews.
