Engineering Planner - Chemical Manufacturing

RPO Recruitment's client, a leading company in the chemical manufacturing industry, is seeking an Engineering Planner to join their team. The Engineering Planner will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective scheduling and planning of engineering activities within the organization. If you have a strong background in engineering planning and scheduling, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills, we would love to hear from you. As the Engineering Planner, you will be responsible for: * Developing and maintaining engineering project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. * Coordinating with engineering teams to gather information on project scope, timelines, and resource requirements. * Analyzing project progress and identifying potential delays or bottlenecks. * Developing and implementing mitigation plans to address scheduling issues. * Monitoring and reporting on project performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders. * Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance. * Utilizing planning and scheduling software to manage project schedules and resources. * Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Key Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. * Proven experience in engineering planning and scheduling, preferably within the chemical manufacturing industry. * Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies. * Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project). * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
