Job description
Exciting opportunity for Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing multidiscipline engineering team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the successful design, development, and execution of innovative technical solutions across Mining, Telecommunications & power systems technology.

- Lead, mentor and develop a team of professional engineers delivering telecommunication systems and infrastructure solutions.
- Oversee the design, development, and delivery of safe, compliant, and fit-for-purpose engineering outcomes.
- Manage resource allocation, capability development, and recruitment within the engineering team.
- Ensure all engineering outputs meet Australian Standards, legislative, and contract requirements.
- Drive modern engineering practices, continuous improvement, and innovation across projects.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including project management, operations, procurement, and HSEQ to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Represent the engineering function across the business and externally, promoting technical excellence and client confidence.
- 10+ years’ practical engineering experience in related sectors such as Telecommunications, Mining, Energy, Oil & Gas, or Defence.
- Experience in engineering or technical management roles within project-based environments.
- Proven leadership experience building, managing, and inspiring large technical teams.
- Strong understanding of engineering design, assurance, and quality management processes.
- Demonstrated success in change management, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (eligible for Engineers Australia membership; Chartered status highly regarded)
