Job Overview: We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Engineering Manager with expertise in Water Treatment Plants to lead Client's engineering team located in Bucharest - Romania. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, project management, and mentorship to the engineering team, ensuring the successful execution of the construction of a Water Treatment Plant. Work Location: Bucharest - Romania Responsibilities: 1. Project Leadership: - Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of the Water Treatment Plant project, ensuring timely and within budget completion. - Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, ensuring compliance with Client's standards and regulations. - Collaborate with the Client's stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business objectives. 2. Team Management: - Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure team members are equipped to deliver high-quality results. - Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team. - Develop and implement team performance metrics and goals, ensuring alignment with Client's objectives. 3. Stakeholder Management: - Build and maintain strong relationships with Client's stakeholders, including project sponsors, project managers, and other team members. - Ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure project success. - Provide regular project updates and status reports to stakeholders. 4. Quality and Safety: - Ensure the Water Treatment Plant project is delivered in accordance with Client's quality and safety standards. - Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. - Identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for the engineering team. 5. Budget and Cost Control: - Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring timely and within budget completion. - Monitor and control project expenses, ensuring alignment with budget and Client's expectations. - Identify and mitigate potential cost overruns, ensuring project financial stability. 6. Reporting and Compliance: - Prepare and submit regular project reports to the Client, including project status, progress, and financial reports. - Ensure compliance with Client's reporting and documentation requirements. - Identify and address any compliance issues or concerns.
