Job description
A job opportunity is available within the FMCG sector for an Engineering Manager based in the Western Cape.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing engineering services across maintenance, utilities, CAPEX projects, and safety systems in a food processing environment. Your expertise in mechanical engineering, continuous improvement, boiler operations, water reticulation, and managing capital projects will be essential in ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and long-term infrastructure planning. You will also handle budgets and costing management.
To be considered, candidates should hold a BEng degree and be in the process of obtaining their GCC (Factories) qualification (currently registered or have already written their first examination). This role requires 2-3 years experience in managing a large team of qualified and experienced Artisans. Exposure to an FMCG or agri food production or processing environment will be highly advantageous.
