Engineering Manager – Infra & SRE (hands-on) (M/F)

Technically, Winamax is: * A powerful and innovative gaming engine: dynamic adaptation of game offerings, highly configurable poker games, fraud detection * A distributed and scalable architecture designed to process platform flows in real-time * A modular platform subject to high availability and data security constraints, capable of handling large audiences ABOUT THE POSITION As the Manager of the Infra/SRE team, you will be responsible for the technical and organizational environment of the team in charge of Winamax's cloud infrastructure. Your role is twofold: to ensure the quality of technical choices, while supporting the team members (4 people) in their skill development and in the daily management of priorities. You will work closely with the technical management and other Managers to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems. JOB MISSIONS Manage your team members: * Ensure resource management and project monitoring for the team to meet the priorities defined in the roadmap approved by management * Participate in the hiring process for future team members (interviews, tests, participation in recruitment events requiring possible travel) * Organize and participate in the technical skill development of team members * Ensure the team's technical consistency and make the right architectural choices * Accompany the design and evolution of our Cloud infrastructure (AWS) in relation to performance, security, and cost challenges * Prioritize technical projects in accordance with the objectives of the technical management and the needs of other teams * Promote and oversee DevOps and SRE best practices, particularly automation, observability, and reliability Participate in the platform evolution strategy: * Work in collaboration with technical management to anticipate medium/long-term needs * Be proactive in proposing choices for tooling, security, monitoring, and scalability * Define and organize SRE efforts transversally TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT Cloud: AWS (EC2, ECS, Fargate, Lambda) Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, ElastiCache Redis Infrastructure as Code: Terraform CI/CD: GitHub + GitHub Actions API Gateway: Kong Monitoring / Observability: Prometheus, CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, Grafana REQUIRED PROFILE Graduating from an engineering school or holding a Master's degree in Computer Science, you have solid experience in the design and evolution of cloud infrastructures subjected to high traffic or requiring high availability. With at least four years of experience in team management or technical leadership of engineers, you have already proven yourself in a reference or Tech Lead role. As such, you know how to perfectly rally your collaborators around common objectives and good practices, while mastering Unix/Linux environments and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) technically. Finally, your synthesis skills, your undeniable team spirit, and your excellent communication skills, both written and oral, will enable you to succeed fully in this role.
