Engineering Manager

Join our team as an Engineering Manager and become one of the authors of our story. You will be responsible for ensuring the correct functioning and daily operation of all installations, equipment, and systems, guaranteeing an immediate and effective response to guest requests involving the Engineering area. Additionally, you will have charge of following up and executing internal improvement projects, ensuring compliance with standards and effective coordination with all hotel areas.

• Monitor guest requests in real-time that involve installations, ensuring short response times and effective solutions in coordination with the operational team.

• Carry out maintenance schedule planning according to the company's long-term vision of continuous improvement and operation standards. For this, you must also consider the criticality of equipment and information contained in the preventive maintenance manual.

• Communicate clearly, precisely, and effectively in a cordial and respectful manner, ensuring the effectiveness of your message to members of different areas.

• Ensure safe working conditions for technical personnel and contribute to and coordinate actions for monitoring and surveillance of applicable STPS standards at our workplace.

• Care for the good state of the organization's assets, whether equipment, machinery, or installations. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the engineering manager to design the company's maintenance plan (when there is no one), define the frequency of inspection tasks, cleaning, lubrication, etc., to maintain a constant optimization and adaptation of the Maintenance Plan.

• Manage maintenance resource consumption, respecting the annual budget.

• Mastery of computer equipment and especially mastery of different internal operation systems, software for equipment maintenance, automation systems, and required programs for efficient performance of duties, such as Autocad, Alice Staff, and Spreadsheets.

• Familiarity with all hotel equipment, machinery, and systems to provide immediate attention to all work orders and routine maintenance program tasks.

• Clear concepts of Engineering and Maintenance in infrastructure, electromechanical, electronic, air conditioning, water treatment, and all related equipment and materials in the hospitality industry.

• Knowledge of current regulations on Environmental Control, Industrial Safety, Civil Protection, Security, and Hygiene, as well as any other applicable legislation to the service industry defined by local legislation.

• Establish and measure performance and productivity indicators for the team.

• Skill to stimulate, direct, and coordinate personnel for the execution of necessary tasks inherent in the area.

• Coordinate and plan with the procurement department the requirements needed for asset maintenance and infrastructure.

• Supervise and coordinate the execution of internal improvement projects for infrastructure and experience, ensuring timely progress, quality delivery, and minimal impact on hotel operations.
