Engineering Manager

Responsibilities: Develop and manage engineering team to meet the demands of design engineering and continued product quality, performance delivery and technology Direct, plan and co-ordinate complex project engineering assignments entailing technical specifications and preparation of detailed plans Lead a team of engineers and engineering assistants to undertake detailed engineering and interfacing work Ensure products are of acceptable quality and in accordance to company specifications; investigate and resolve any quality issues that may arise Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and maintain accurate records of all activities and decisions Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity Monitor and control project costs and ensure that all projects are financially viable Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for engineering projects Ensure that all projects are aligned with the company's overall strategy and objectives Develop and implement strategies to improve engineering processes and procedures Develop and manage a team of engineers and engineering assistants to undertake detailed engineering and interfacing work Ensure that all projects are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures and that all products are of acceptable quality and in accordance to company specifications; investigate and resolve any quality issues that may arise
