Engineering Manager (Dotnet 9.0)

Position: Engineering Manager (Dotnet 9.0) Experience: 8–12 Years Location: Pune, India We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager with deep expertise in .NET 9/10, microservices, and cloud-agnostic architectures to lead one of our key product engineering teams. This role is pivotal in shaping scalable travel platform solutions with innovation, quality, and delivery excellence. Key Responsibilities: ● Architecture Leadership: Own solution architecture design, system decomposition, and selection of appropriate technologies. ● Technical Execution: Guide the team in technical design, development, and deployment of features. Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization. ● Team Management: Manage, mentor, and coach a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development. ● Project Management: Plan and execute projects, ensuring timely delivery and within budget. Manage dependencies, risks, and communicate status effectively to stakeholders. ● Innovation and Quality: Drive innovation in software development processes and technologies. Advocate for best practices in quality assurance, including unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews. ● Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. ● Cloud Technologies: Oversee the implementation and management of cloud-based infrastructure and services. ● Performance Management: Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring scalability and reliability. Qualifications: ● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. ● 8–12 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. ● Proven experience in designing and developing large-scale, distributed systems. ● Deep understanding of .NET 9/10, C#, and related technologies. ● Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-agnostic design principles. ● Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. ● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. ● Experience with performance tuning and optimization. ● Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. ● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Preferred Skills: ● Experience in the travel or e-commerce industry. ● Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL). ● Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
