Engineering Document Controller & Training Specialist
Job description
Role Summary As an Engineering Document Controller & Training Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of engineering documentation, including archiving, retrieval, and retention. Additionally, you will drive the development and management of training job codes, ensuring all engineering personnel are properly trained, compliant, and equipped with the necessary skills to excel in a cGMP environment. Reporting Line: SEM Engineering Operation Lead Responsibilities Maintain the integrity and accuracy of engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Develop and implement procedures for document control, including version control, approval, and distribution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering documentation into overall project plans. Drive the development and management of training job codes, ensuring all engineering personnel are properly trained, compliant, and equipped with the necessary skills to excel in a cGMP environment. Provide training and support to engineers on new processes, procedures, and technologies. Identify and address knowledge gaps through targeted training programs. Develop and maintain training materials, including job aids, tutorials, and other resources. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making recommendations for improvement. Ensure all training programs are compliant with regulatory requirements and company policies. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, or related field. • 3+ years of experience in engineering document control, technical writing, or a related field. • Strong understanding of cGMP regulations and industry standards. • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Familiarity with document management systems and electronic signatures.
