Production Engineer B2 F35

Are you curious about the dynamic world of the Royal Netherlands Air Force? As a civilian employee at the Air Support Command, you contribute to peace and security with your specialization. You do this together in a team of military personnel, reservists, and civilian employees.

Your role as Production Engineer B2 F35 at the Royal Netherlands Air Force

As a Production Engineer B2 F35, you are responsible for preparing and executing maintenance and modifications on the F-35. In this role, you work closely with both industry and Defense to ensure that all work is carried out according to the correct rules and documentation. You prepare technical work plans based on current technical documentation, including creating an equipment plan and entering tasks into ALIS, the ERP system used within the F-35 program. A significant part of your work focuses on the major maintenance of the F-35, where you are primarily involved with avionics (B2), meaning the onboard electronic systems.

In addition, you provide technical support to the squadron, assist in resolving technical issues, and guide mechanics during maintenance. You ensure that all regulations and guidelines remain current and adapt them when necessary.

Furthermore, you check the progress of the order package and draw up work methods and reports by:

•Setting priorities regarding technical and logistical processes;

•Preparing supporting activities for the production process;

•Monitoring the progress of the processes;

•Monitoring lead times;

•Informing the customer about progress and order-related issues;

•Collecting production data on workload, personnel capacity, and the use of resources.
