We bring the energy transition to multi-family houses – roof for roof! ☀️

Solar energy is booming, but so far only around 1% of all multi-family houses have a PV system. We work every day to change that – and we need you for that.

We enable owners of multi-family houses to produce solar power and sell it to their tenants: Landlords achieve a return, tenants save on electricity costs. As a full-service provider, we provide everything from planning, implementation and operation to measurement technology & billing.

Roof for Roof is financed by EnBW, one of the largest producers of renewable energies in Germany.

You will work directly with the founders and take on a central role: As a Founders Associate, you are responsible for various topics and ensure that projects run smoothly and also process customer inquiries.

Tasks

• Build products / automations from scratch
• Develop and ship new features and automations together with us, e.g., energy data visualization or automated billing

Qualifications

• Hands-on mindset: You proactively tackle challenges and push our product forward with ownership
• You solve problems quickly and pragmatically without overengineering
• You know when to use no-/low-code solutions and AI tools - and when “vibe coding” becomes an issue
• Self-leadership & curiosity: You organize yourself independently and dive fearlessly into new topics
• Languages: English, German
• Passion for the energy transition and a drive to turn ideas into reality
• Bonus: Experience with energy or billing software
