Engineer from the Field of Food Science

Our customer is the leading manufacturer of machines for grain processing. For the analytics laboratory, we are looking for an expert in grain analysis. Your main tasks will include ensuring quality, innovation, and customer support in the grain sector. Tasks - You actively support customer trials, plant commissioning, and proposal preparation - You ensure the further development of comprehensive knowledge in the field of grain analysis - You are responsible for quality and capacity management and ensure high quality and flexibility of the laboratory at increasing volumes and requirements in the grains and food sector - You have fun conducting internal and external training for employees and customers - You take over the care of scientific projects, especially on grains (including ancient grains) and pulses - In your function, you are responsible for promoting and supporting new developments and developing new methods and standards in cooperation with external partners and internal units

Required qualifications - Completed studies in food science, chemistry, agricultural sciences or a related field - Funded knowledge in the area of grain analysis and grain processing technologies - Experience in laboratory work, ideally in the food or grain industry - Ability to lead scientific projects and collaborate with external partners - Very good communication skills in German and English - Experience in advising customers and organizing and conducting training sessions is desirable - Ideally expertise in innovative topics such as proteins and ancient grains or willingness to further develop on this topic
