You will integrate into the Engineering team of the Wabtec Corporation unit in Governador Valadares.

How will you make a difference?

As a mechanical engineer, within the Engineering department, you will get to know our entire portfolio of solutions and act directly in expanding it. You will be on the front line of our technical area and deal directly with internal departments such as production and supply chain, and more than that, you will make interventions to optimize our processes. You will work with people from different areas, formations, and experiences, which will give you the opportunity to learn and teach a variety of topics.

What do we want to know about you?

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering;

• Fluent English;

• Mastery of specialized design tools and development diagrams for hydraulic and pneumatic systems: Autodesk Autocad, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault, and Festo Didactic FluidSIM;

• Knowledge in mechanical projects, machine elements, and manufacturing processes;

• Knowledge in hydraulic and pneumatic systems and the ability to develop projects in these areas;

• Mastery of Microsoft Office tools to create document models and reports;

• Previous experience with yellow line equipment (heavy construction machines) and heavy vehicles;

• Availability for travel.

Desirable:

• Tech degree in related areas, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Electromechanical Engineering.

• Mastery of the Spanish language, especially for interaction with clients and international partners.

• Knowledge in electrical systems, electronics, and logic, with the ability to integrate with mechanical projects;

• Experience with advanced design tools and structural analysis software, such as SolidWorks, Catia, Ansys, and other similar tools.

How will your day-to-day be?

• Coordination and development of equipment projects focused on railway maintenance, from conception to technical delivery;

• Tech support for the design team, guiding project development and performing technical feasibility analyses;

• Development of integrated mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with the responsible teams for electrical, electronic, and logic systems;

• Multidisciplinary interaction with internal areas, such as production and supply chain, promoting process improvements and technical solutions;

• Participation in commercial analyses and prospecting opportunities, contributing technical insights to negotiations with national and international clients.
