Work Schedule: Administrative


Prerequisites – Education:

Completed Higher Education;

Specialization in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related areas.


Other necessary requirements:

Solid knowledge of Mine Planning software, preferably Datamine, AutoScheduler, NPV, and Deswik;

Knowledge of Mining Law, Taxation, and taxes;

Knowledge of economic technical analysis;

Knowledge of mining codes (ANM and JORC);

Type B Driver's License.


Summary of job responsibilities:

Technical responsibility for the development, control, validation, and review of medium-term and short-term plans, using specialized software and technical models to ensure the best economic utilization of mineral reserves, the achievement of production, quality, and operational cost targets. Act in the analysis of production scenarios, control of adherence between planning and operation, reconciliation of production data, and technical support to operational areas, promoting continuous improvements, operational safety, and compliance with the company's technical, environmental, and regulatory guidelines. Act directly or support long-term, project, ESG areas, and consultants in the analysis and feasibility of projects in compliance with government agencies (ANM, SEMAD, etc.) and corporate requirements of the CMOC Group.


Main Activities:

Develop the mathematical mining sequence for the evaluation of production scenarios and CAPEX and OPEX estimates, including infrastructure planning and operational structure movement;

Develop the waste disposal master plan and drainage and infrastructure planning for a horizon of up to five years;

Develop, monitor, review, and/or validate medium and short-term mining plans, ensuring compliance with production targets, ore quality, and operational cost optimization;

Simulate production scenarios and evaluate operational alternatives using specialized mine planning software;

Define operational strategies that ensure the best mining method, seeking to reduce costs and maximize ore quality and recovery;

Monitor the adherence between the mining plan and the performed operation (compliance), identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions;

Consolidate reconciliation analyses between planned parameters and operational results obtained in mining and processing;

Analysis of the sizing of the equipment fleet required for the medium-term planning horizon. Interface with the Technical Directorate for support in the long-term planning of the operation. Plan plant feed in conjunction with production and process areas.
