POSITION SUMMARY

Act as a developer for ADP's network infrastructure systems, using the Python language

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, deploy, and support network automation applications and workflows.
• Build reusable automation solutions using Python, Django, JavaScript, Ansible, AWX, YAML, Git, REST APIs, and SQL.
• Administer NetBox as the central source of truth for network information and integrate it with network platforms and corporate systems.
• Automate network provisioning, configuration deployment, validation, compliance, and environment lifecycle management.
• Develop Ansible playbooks, templates, and workflows in AWX.
• Develop and support API integrations between NetBox, network management platforms, IT service management systems, and other corporate applications.
• Develop features for configuration validation, data reconciliation, and configuration drift detection.
• Translate network engineering requirements and standards into reliable and scalable automation solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues related to applications, automations, APIs, databases, integrations, and network infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, deployments, and production support.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve network automation and reliability.
• Follow established standards for development, network architecture, cybersecurity, and change management.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in software development, application development, infrastructure automation, or network engineering.
• Solid and proven experience in software development with Python.
• Proven experience with Django, JavaScript, REST APIs, and SQL.
• Proven experience with Ansible, AWX, YAML, and Git.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting software or automation solutions in a production environment.
• Proven experience in developing API integrations between applications, network platforms, and infrastructure systems.
• Solid knowledge and practical experience with TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, network segmentation, BGP, OSPF, wireless networks, and SD-WAN.
• Proven ability to transform network engineering requirements into scalable automation solutions.
• Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues across multiple layers, including applications, automation, APIs, data, integrations, and networks.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with global architecture, engineering, and operations teams.
• Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in developing scripts, reports, plugins, webhooks, or integrations for NetBox.
• Experience with configuration templates using Jinja2.
• Experience with Linux, containers, cloud platforms, or observability tools.
• Experience with automated configuration validation, compliance, or configuration drift detection.
• Relevant certifications in software development, automation, cloud computing, or networking.

ADP's adopted work model is office-based/in-person, with the possibility of working from home up to twice a week.
