Job Description: We are looking for a highly qualified Data Engineer to work on the development of solutions for managing, integrating, and treating data from telecommunications networks of B2B clients. This person will be responsible for structuring efficient data pipelines, ensuring the quality, availability, and governance of critical information for corporate business of the company. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines, extracting information from B2B networks (e.g., traffic data, consumption, performance, failures).
- Integrate data from different OSS/BSS systems and network sources (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, router logs, etc.).
- Create robust data structures to feed analytical models, dashboards, and reports.
- Work together with Network Engineering, BI, and Products teams to understand corporate clients' needs and transform data into actionable insights.
- Implement data governance, data quality, and information security processes.
- Support projects for Data Lake, Data Mesh, or cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Automate data collection, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) routines.
- Document data architecture and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Higher education in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Proven experience in Data Engineering, preferably in the telecommunications sector.
- Solid knowledge of languages such as Python, SQL, Scala.
- Experience with distributed processing tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Airflow.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP), especially data solutions (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks).
- Knowledge of network structures and protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow, etc.) is an important differentiator.
- Understanding of security, anonymization, and data compliance (LGPD, GDPR).
- Experience in projects focused on corporate clients (B2B).
- Knowledge of OSS/BSS architectures of telecommunications operators.
- Certifications in Data Engineering, Cloud, or Big Data.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices or integration with Data Science teams.
