Job description
In a residential center, nursing staff with a vocation is needed to work in an environment where empathy and respect are part of everyday life. The job consists of performing nursing assessments upon resident admission and periodically, preparing and administering medications according to prescriptions, and carrying out palliative care. The care plan must also be validated with the interdisciplinary team, the resident's evolution must be recorded in their history, moral and psychological support must be offered to residents, and family inquiries must be addressed. Other tasks include supervising the care provided by auxiliary staff and performing INR tests for coagulation monitoring. An indefinite contract is offered with full-time employment (one hundred percent), on a fixed morning shift from seven in the morning to three in the afternoon. Immediate incorporation is expected. The work environment is collaborative and respectful, and work-life balance is promoted along with continuous training and professional development. Among the requirements, a diploma or degree in nursing is needed. Having at least one year of experience in hospital or gerontological supervision is valued, as is experience in socio-sanitary or residential settings. Additional training in equality or gerontology is considered a plus.
