Energy Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Support activities for participating in natural gas transactions on domestic and international markets, including the balancing market.
• Manage the issuance and receipt of guarantees according to purchase and sales contracts.
• Analyze and monitor guarantees presented to internal and external partners.
• Handle the issuance and receipt of invoices as per purchase, sales, and balancing market contracts.
• Participate in capacity reservation auctions at cross-border interconnection points.
• Prepare analytical reports on the natural gas trading department's activities.
• Compile reports for various internal or external institutions.
• Trade on short-term and long-term natural gas markets.
• Provide support for preparing reports, acquisition scenarios, and calculating natural gas acquisition costs.
• Manage consumption structure and requirements in collaboration with company management.
• Oversee purchased versus sold volumes and report to requesting authorities (ANRE, Transgaz).

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in energy or natural gas markets.
• Solid knowledge of energy and gas market mechanisms, ANRE, Transgaz, OPCOM regulations.
• Excellent analytical, planning, and reporting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and analytical tools.
• Attention to detail, responsibility, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
