Job description Job Title: Energy Manager for a manufacturing co at Srikalahasti Location: Srikalahasti Industry: Manufacturing Department: Engineering / Utilities / Sustainability Reports To: Plant Head / Corporate Engineering Head Job Summary The Energy Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing energy consumption across all manufacturing divisions, conducting comprehensive energy audits, ensuring statutory approvals, and maintaining full compliance with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency. Key Responsibilities 1. Conduct regular energy audits to identify areas of improvement and implement measures to reduce energy consumption. 2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize energy usage, including identifying opportunities for renewable energy sources and implementing energy-efficient technologies. 3. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to energy efficiency, including those set by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize projects that promote energy efficiency and sustainability. 5. Develop and manage budgets for energy-related initiatives and ensure timely and cost-effective implementation. 6. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to energy consumption, including energy intensity, carbon footprint, and greenhouse gas emissions. 7. Provide training and support to employees on energy-efficient practices and technologies. 8. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure access to innovative energy-efficient solutions.
