Energy Consultant (m/w/d) for Non-Residential Buildings - Department Efficiency House / New Building

We are currently looking for an energy consultant to expand our consulting team and explore a new market.

ecogreen is a medium-sized consulting company specializing in grant counseling for companies, trade, and industry. We support our customers in selecting, applying for, and processing state grants – particularly in the field of energy efficiency, technology, and production processes – and accompany projects from initial assessment to payment of subsidies.

Tasks

• Identification of funding potential and consulting for customers in various funding pots for trade and industry, primarily BEG funding and similar.
• Focus on the renovation of non-residential buildings (NWG) into efficiency buildings, large residential complexes, and multi-family homes (from 10 units).
• Preparation of necessary proofs and calculations, possibly with connection to the customer's planner or external energy consultant (providing specifications).
• On-site project management in accordance with funding requirements.
• Internal point of contact for technical questions regarding funding and technical matters.
• The grant counseling requires calculation and proof using specialized software (Hottgenroth Software). You will perform energy calculations and prepare energy proofs, which are necessary for securing grants. This includes building surveys and zoning according to GEG and DIN V 18599, heat load calculations, ventilation concepts, and summer thermal protection.
• The proofs and grant counseling primarily take place in the non-residential buildings (NWG) sector.
• You will take on the challenge of creating customer projects that are technically designed to be positively evaluated for funding.
• Clear communication is important. You will keep customers and grant authorities informed if there are questions about a project.
• You will analyze new market requirements, recognize potential, and advise our business customers proactively on optimal grant strategies.

Qualification

• You have completed a technical degree or training (e.g., engineering, building technology, TGA).
• Familiarity with the energy consultant software from Hottgenroth Software (including HottCAD).
• Experience in the field of TGA and building technology (what is which technology and how do these differences and requirements need to be entered into the Hottgenroth Software).
• Possibly listed on the Energy Efficiency Experts List (EEE) for the WG + NWG sector.
• You have already analyzed and calculated various non-residential buildings using Hottgenroth. Our projects range from office buildings, production halls, and shopping centers to shopping malls.
• You are convinced that the success of your work is also the success of our customers.
• Your working style is structured, result-oriented, and team-oriented.
• You are confident in using MS Office365 (particularly Outlook, Excel).
• Your interest in technology and consulting competence are the key to successful grant counseling.
• You have excellent communication skills for customer contact.
• You are a team player and give 100% when it's just you.
