Mechanical Energy Specialist / Heating System Operator

Place of work: Toruń

Your responsibilities

• ensuring the proper operation of heating networks and installations, along with auxiliary equipment within the city, for the correct functioning of gas turbines, water boilers, and the heat accumulator in the combined heat and power plant,
• ensuring the continuity of heat carrier supply for the heating system by operating equipment and installations at their installation site in the water preparation station,
• performing operational switching of equipment and installations,
• monitoring and controlling the operating parameters of heat nodes, monitoring the operation of local boiler rooms,
• identifying and reporting operational irregularities of equipment and installations, handling equipment faults registered in IT systems, monitoring their implementation,
• reporting events from the shift's progress and the efficiency of the distribution process,
• ensuring the safety of equipment operation and ongoing monitoring of the correct operation of fittings, equipment, and installations,
• maintaining the proper condition of technical equipment, installations, and the heating network, monitoring the condition of fittings, equipment, and installations marking, and the completeness of informational and warning signs.

Our requirements

• technical secondary education, e.g., in the profile of an energy technician or an electrical technician.
• category B driving license.
• readiness to work in a shift system.

• qualification certificate for operational positions,
• knowledge of energy equipment.
