Job Title: Emergency Consultant - FACEM Location: Regional NSW Position Type: Full Time About the Role: We are currently looking for an experienced Emergency Consultant to join team in a well-known regional health service located just 1.5h from Sydney. As an Emergency Consultant, you will have a vital role in guaranteeing the provision of emergency services that are of excellent quality, safe, and sustainable. Key Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of emergency services in coordination with the Medical Director to ensure compliance with relevant policies and guidelines. Develop and maintain strong relationships with local healthcare providers, GPs, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Provide high-quality patient care by working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that enhance patient outcomes. Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to emergency medicine. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions between departments and services. Requirements: FACEM or equivalent qualification. Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
