You will work within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse and will collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Responsibilities * Assess patients, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. * Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. * Monitor patients' conditions and document observations. * Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments. * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. * Adhere to hospital policies and procedures. Qualifications * Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) * Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or compact license * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification * Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification * Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred Experience * Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department preferred.
