Embedded System Quality Lead

Location : Pune / Bangalore Experience : 15 - 18 Years Summary: This role is a senior level Delivery Lead – Quality Engineer with a strong foundation in Advanced Embedded System Engineering. The position combines quality engineering leadership, delivery management, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring that complex, embedded and software-driven systems are delivered with high quality, on time, and at scale. The role is hands-on at a strategic level, driving QA transformation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the highest levels of quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This includes developing and implementing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in embedded systems, software development, and testing methodologies, with experience in leading quality engineering initiatives and driving process improvements. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for complex embedded systems. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Leading quality engineering initiatives and driving process improvements to ensure the highest levels of quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. • Providing technical guidance and support to team members on testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. • Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams. • Identifying and prioritizing areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive process efficiency and effectiveness. • Ensuring the highest levels of quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction through continuous monitoring and evaluation of processes and outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in embedded systems, software development, and testing methodologies, with experience in leading quality engineering initiatives and driving process improvements. Key qualifications include: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. • 15-18 years of experience in embedded system design, development, and testing. • Strong technical background in embedded systems, software development, and testing methodologies. • Experience in leading quality engineering initiatives and driving process improvements. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Certification in relevant areas such as Six Sigma, Agile, or Scrum is desirable.
