Your Future Field of Activity

• Development of embedded control software for next-generation lithography systems

• Implementation of software for bare-metal controllers with a strong focus on the C programming language

• Development and further development of embedded Linux-based software components as needed

• Contribution to the definition of software architectures as well as the translation of requirements into sustainable technical solutions

• Setup and continuous improvement of test infrastructures for software verification and validation

• Analysis of technical requirements, runtime behavior, and edge cases to ensure reliable system performance

• Close collaboration in an agile and highly specialized development team

What Sets You Apart

• Completed degree in Engineering Sciences (m/f/d), Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or comparable

• Sound and current practical experience in professional C software development for bare-metal systems

• In-depth knowledge in the area of low-level embedded software, including memory management and hardware-related programming

• Practical experience in machine-oriented software development, with embedded Linux, or in real-time environments

• Initial experience with tasks in software architecture as well as with the evaluation and implementation of technical design decisions

• Good understanding of software design principles and the ability to derive suitable solutions from requirements, runtime behavior, and relevant edge cases

• Experience with Python for test automation is an advantage

• Ideally, knowledge in the field of FPGA or VHDL

• Very good English skills (C1), German skills are an advantage
