Your Future Field of Activity

• Development of control engineering algorithms for the mechanical stabilization of optronic platforms by combining inertial measurement systems and control of electro-mechanical drive units to create high-performance sighting systems

• Development of real-time/multitasking software for embedded computer systems with RTOS and multicore processors for control and regulation

• Model-based software development

• Software component and system integration within the team

• Verification of developed software in the sighting system

• Agile software engineering within the team

• Participation in overall system integrations, product presentations, and trials, also internationally

What Sets You Apart

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering (m/f/d), Computer Science, Mechatronics, or comparable

• Ideally, QNX RTOS knowledge on Multi-Processing System on Chip architectures (Xilinx Zynq Ultrascale MPSoC platforms)

• Knowledge in the development of unit and component tests with Catch2 and/or Cucumber for automated black box / white box testing

• Knowledge in requirements engineering and specification creation

• Knowledge in version control with GIT

• Knowledge in SharePoint applications

• In-depth knowledge of control engineering, e.g., linear control engineering, model predictive control (MPC, LQR, etc.)

• Initial experience in software architecture description with UML in Enterprise Architect

• In-depth knowledge in C++ software development for real-time signal and data acquisition and for event and sequence control

• Knowledge of signal processing, e.g., Kalman filters

• Willingness to travel

• Very good German (C1) and good English skills (B2)
