Job description

Mynameis, a headhunting company specializing in the search and selection of technical and qualified profiles, is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer for an innovative industrial company operating in the development of advanced electronic solutions.


Our client company designs and manufactures electronic boards and industrial products with high technological content for strategic sectors such as automation, medical, railway, defense, and environment, internally managing all phases of the product lifecycle: from hardware and software design to production and commercialization.


To strengthen the R&D team, we are looking for a person who wants to contribute to the development of innovative products, working closely with hardware and software designers.


What you will do


Integrated into the Research and Development department and reporting to the R&D Manager, you will be responsible for:


• Firmware development for embedded systems and microcontroller-based devices;

• Requirements analysis and definition of technical product specifications;

• Feasibility studies and identification of design criticalities;

• Firmware integration, testing, and validation;

• Collaboration with the hardware team in the development of new electronic boards;

• Development and maintenance of software tools to support products;

• Preparation of technical documentation.


The ideal candidate


  • Diploma or Degree in a technical field;
  • Knowledge of embedded systems with microcontrollers (STM32, i.MX9x);
  • Experience or knowledge of peripherals and protocols (I²C, SPI, UART, USB, CAN);
  • Knowledge of wireless communications (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi);
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics;
  • Familiarity with laboratory instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply);
  • Technical curiosity, autonomy, and problem-solving skills.
