What's expected of you:

• Development of specifications for complex systems with a focus on software development and architecture

• Implementation of hardware-related device functions in real-time operating systems (Linux / VxWorks / RTOS) as well as under Linux

• Development, commissioning, testing, and integration of software modules into the device hardware

• Documented source code, software architecture, and interfaces

• Support in creating test concepts and test specifications for waveforms of complex communication systems

• Participation in setting up and testing device configurations as well as troubleshooting within the waveform development

• Closely working with departmental teams and subcontractors

What you should bring:

• Completed studies in the field of computer science, telecommunications or electrical engineering

• Fundamental experience in software development with C++ (11/14/17) and good knowledge of Python

• Knowledge of object-oriented design

• Ideal experience with waveforms and communication protocols in the field of message transmission

• Experience with embedded Linux, from driver development on kernel level to Linux Yocto

• Flexibility, resilience, and assertiveness

• Good German and English language skills in writing and speaking

• Will to travel for business purposes within Germany and abroad
