Aufgaben

• Development, concept, and hardware-near programming of Embedded Systems in C/C++ within structured development processes
• Integration, testing, and commissioning of prototypes and later models on target hardware (e.g. MSP430, ARM Cortex)
• Creation of test cases, automated tests, and SW troubleshooting for new developments and existing products
• Participation in risk analyses and implementation of functional safety requirements
• Ensuring code quality and development documentation - internally and against external certification bodies
• Closely working with other software and hardware developers as well as using common development and versioning tools (e.g. Git, Jira, CI/CD)

Qualifikation

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Technical Informatics or a comparable qualification
• Multiple years of professional experience in Embedded Software Development, ideally with experience using ARM-based microcontrollers
• Experience with the development according to common software development processes (functional safety) from requirement specification to design and testing (e.g. TESSY) up to documentation
• Practical experience in commissioning PCBs and assemblies, fault finding, and handling measuring instruments (e.g. oscilloscope and logic analyzer)
• Systematic, analytical, and independent working style as well as teamwork and secure communication in German and English
• Ideal knowledge of high-frequency technology, telecommunications or electromagnetic compatibility
